Yeaaaaaaaah.

So, due to crap planning, trains that were replaced by BUSES, a massively long 2 hour queue and general draining of will to live, K and I only got into the hall at 2pm.

That's 4 hours late. GUH. We only stayed for an hour as well, due to a meet-up elsewhere (which turned out to have finished by the time we got there. FAIL). But I did see a Russia but she looked really worn-out and was about to sit down, so I didn't bother her for a photo or anything

So yeah, huge apology to Chi as I didn't buy anything (it's the least amount I've ever spent in London o.O) and a huge apology to everyone else as I didn't take any pictures (general feelings of self-consciousness and despair stopped me, which hasn't happened at an expo for, like, 3 years).

Seriously, that queue...nightmare. Wiggled around a massive interior warehouse type room, so by the time we got to one wall (which was basically the half-way point) I'd gone stir-crazy and kinda just gleefully shouted "WAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL!" Least I didn't hug it like other people though Other people who were sitting on each others shoulders and playing hockey with brooms and a plastic bottle

So yeah. I'm not really counting this one as an expo, seeing as we spent more time on transport than in Custom House ><

Better planning shall happen for May. Definately.

Sooo, pre-expo journal eh?

K and I got our train tickets todaaaaaay - the route seems...confusing...and involves a bus, wtf?

Not so much in official cosplay this year, more informal - going undercover so I can stalk people/hang around the tables without being pestered ((this year I shall do the pestering! ))

General note - if I see any APH Russia / N. Italy cosplayers, I WILL be glomping. /warning

Meant to be arranging with Toddy/J/D maybe? etc when we're meeting, but I don't think plans will properl be made until Friday night, lol

I got a Twitter. I said I never would, but come on! It saves me spamming my LJ account all the time :/

So, it seems I'll be taking an informal gap year - to all the younger locals, I'm around for another year, sorry about that

My boss was so happy I'm not leaving, she hugged me _(eep) AND let me keep my short-notice holiday. Woo!

I'm not looking forwards to doing a years worth of work in 4 months, but what can I do? I still have Katy nearby, so I'm not miserably alone, and my job means I can earn enough money to not be a poor loser _{(just a loser, snerk)}

It also means I may have to be less lazy on the creative front, so I don't go insane with boredom/work related stress

We'll see how it goes
